s-bendz

i’ve been wanting to build a bike like this for a while. happy to get the chance to try s-bend stays on a track bike, where they can stay uncluttered and awesome. the paint is something special that needs to be photographed in the sun- the lugs have a blue tinted clearcoat. it’s the kind of sleeper scheme that grabs you in just the right lighting. thanks to indy fab for letting some of the boston builders have at their old steel tubes before their move to new hampshire (they had a bin of those reynolds stays they were giving away). and i can’t forget to thank marty for letting me indenture myself for the sweet richard sachs tubeset and lugs. couldn’t pick a better guy to be in the service of. marty! oh oh, and thanks to aaron for letting me borrow his camera for this shot. what a team effort! head over to the flickr page for some additional shots.
