sometimes forks get hit by cars. josh from open/arc-en-ciel/about town came by with a crashed alien fork that he thought had a little life left in it. a few minutes on the alignment table and it was right as rain. if there was any doubt about the stiffness of round bladed track forks, it can be put to bed. full human weight was handled with ease. the fork was going on a fillet brazed/lugged bb shell track frame josh just finished building to replaced a crashed kiyo. looks super awesome, especially for a first frame. keep an eye out for it in the union square area. you’ll recognize it because it’s currently the only unpainted fillet brazed track frame with sleeved seatstays in town.
