holy hell. another year of making leftover bicycle parts into presents, ornaments, and decorative signs. last year i had a stack of campagnolo dropouts to work through, and this years offerings were no less inspiring- a box of old ladies step through lugs made a handsome ‘W’, and leftover stainless from a custom front rack can be made into cursive if you have infinite hours to devote to the task.

the lugwork is definitely up to snuff, and the fillets on that ‘T’ are enough to make even ian blush. but why ‘wolf town’? good question. this one is a present for robby holb- painter and general talent and friend. and wolf town is the live/work space outside of denver where he’s living and working. and now everyone who goes there will know it. even though there’s already a sign on the wall outside. but dollars to donuts it’s not made out of bike lugs or small gauge stainless steel. happy crimbus robby! hope the sign is up to the vigorous standards of wolf town. looking forward to the new set of paintings! i also make bikes at royal h- some of those are presents too! check back in a few hours after they’ve been gifted for the details!
