nothing really ‘new’ about seatstay caps, in general, but this specific combination of letters has never before been seen (on a seatstay cap)! i’ve been wanting to do these for a while, and couldn’t have done it without aaron’s -getting it drawn in solid works and out to the machinist.

they look pretty good! and they’re stainless, so that should make for some interesting paint possibilities. currently, they’ll accommodate 14-16mm seat stays. so no double taper italian tomfoolery at the moment. perhaps the second generation can handle the spindlier stays.

now here’s something new! again, not really, but it’s rare to see a generator hub whose contact plate is in the actual dropout and routed through the fork.

see? pretty clean, i’m hoping. the wiring will exit under the canti boss and run to a rack mounted light. from there they’ll head to the back light on the rear fender. still brainstorming on how that will work…
