happy birthday dad! if there’s two things i love, it’s old, obscure italian componentry and using available resources. actually, in this case, the old italian component was an available resource- found on a dumpster raleigh. couldn’t let that go to the landfill. the stand was fashioned out of scraps from the last rack i built. also available! i must hand it to my dad for imparting me with this great sense of resourcefulness. luckily, i’ve found that if it says campagnolo, decorative or not, it’s going to be a hit. nothing like making presents in the shop!
